On Saturday 18th November 2013, Bro. James Andrew Scott was Installed into the Chair of Lodge Govandale.

The Installing Masters on the evening were:

• Bro. Drew Caldwell PM (Govandale 437)
• Bro. David Auld PM (Govandale 437)
• Bro. Matthew Moore PM (Neptune 419)

The Director of Ceremonies, Bro. James MacDonald Jnr. PM then presented a large deputation from our Sister Lodges, headed by the RWM of St. Columba (No. 729) Bro. Walter Smith PM, and assisted by the RWM Bro. David Colley PM of Lodge Corkerhill (1426) and RWM Bro. Martin Cassidy PM of Lodge Craigends (1042); before presenting a deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow, headed by the SPGM Bro. Robert Shaw.  Both deputation were warmly received by the outgoing RWM Bro. Gordon Dinnie PM.

The RWIM's for the evening were then presented to the Right Worshipful Master, who warmly welcomed them into the Lodge before inviting them to join him in the East.

As all masonic activities were suspended in 2020, which resulted in Lodge Govandale not having an Installation Ceremony in either 2020 or 2021, Bro. Jamie had to wait a further 2 years before his RWIM's could proclaim him RWM of Lodge Govandale, a position that was well earned and richly deserved.
